Valentine Shenanigans

Never shall you be defined by a single day.

Three hundred and sixty five is your number

You and I are there in all laughter and sadness 

Like water we are H2O sometimes one, other times two, 

always together, 

always fluid and flow, 

always connected.

When around you my body smiles an inward smile, 

Sanctuary for warm and happy feelings to grow

Ours is a kindness that is easy, never contrived or forced

Ours is a knowing that when you are tired you can be lifted , 

when sad, then arms will comfort you, 

when happy we shall always laugh,  

for such is the nature of who together we are.

This to you is my declaration, 

my promise of meaningful words,
